At Absolute Property Service, we recently completed a full pre-move, home refurbishment and renovation project for a beautiful Edwardian home in Bray, Berkshire. The property required a wide range of improvements before the new owners moved in, with the goal of modernising key areas while preserving the original character and charm of the home.
Working closely with the client from the outset, we managed and delivered multiple services across the property, including bathroom renovations, bespoke carpentry & joinery, electrical services, plumbing & heating, painting & decorating, flooring installation, tiling and general handyman works. Every aspect of the project was carefully coordinated to ensure a smooth turnaround within the client’s timeframe and budget.
One of the standout elements of the renovation was the installation of a new bathroom designed to complement the style of the Edwardian property. We carried out all plumbing, wall & floor tiling, electrical upgrades, decorating and finishing touches to create a space that felt both modern and in keeping with the character of the home.
Throughout the property, we also completed a range of bespoke carpentry & joinery works tailored to the original features of the house. This included custom woodwork and detailed finishing designed to blend seamlessly with the period aesthetic while improving functionality throughout the home.
As with many older properties, unforeseen issues arose during the renovation process. We managed these efficiently and kept the client fully updated at every stage, ensuring all work remained on schedule and within budget. By overseeing the entire project personally, we were able to coordinate all trades effectively and maintain a consistently high standard across every service provided.
